Equipment Maintenance and Repair

Reliable production depends on keeping key mechanical and electrical components in good condition. While JTW does not provide ongoing preventive maintenance programs or emergency repair services, we support customers by supplying replacement parts, helping diagnose issues, and offering optional inspections when needed. Our goal is to help you restore equipment performance quickly and make informed maintenance decisions.

Protect Your Production Output

Densifiers rely on accurate heat control, mechanical alignment, and consistent material flow. When these systems experience wear, performance can decline and output quality may vary. Most routine maintenance is performed by the plant’s internal maintenance team, but JTW provides technical support and replacement components to assist with corrective actions.

What We Support

Remote Troubleshooting & Technical Guidance

Our engineering team helps identify mechanical or electrical issues and provides direction on what your maintenance staff should check, adjust, or replace.

Replacement Parts & Component Supply

We source and ship OEM-compatible components—including heaters, motors, electrical parts, and pneumatics—to restore equipment functionality when failures occur.
Customers may also send in specific assemblies, such as shredders, for rebuilds or replacement.

Optional On-Site Evaluations

When requested, we can perform a paid on-site inspection or performance review to document equipment condition, identify wear, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintenance Expectations for Plant Teams

Because densifiers operate alongside production lines, they should follow the same maintenance intervals used within your facility.

Examples include:

  • lubrication of moving assemblies

  • verification of pneumatic components

  • electrical checks

  • inspection of heater systems and wiring

Aligning these tasks with your plant’s established schedule helps reduce unplanned downtime and maintain stable operating conditions.

When to Contact JTW

If you notice inconsistent throughput (inconsistent temperature), mechanical wear (odd noises), or electrical issues, JTW can assist by recommending replacement parts, reviewing system condition, or helping your team identify the root cause.
